Well done to all those members who represented the Club at the Area 7 Dressage Qualifiers at Cottenham Rececourse on 20 July.  Lizzie Wooderson with Rosario was placed 1st in the Senior Prelim warm up class whilst Megan Sheppard and Woodland Badger were a very creditable 3rd in the Junior Novice equivalent.  Megan, who was representing the Club as a junior individual, had another good ride in the qualifier itself but was just out of the ribbons.  The senior Novice Team of Lizzie, Diane Jones, Louise Hepburn and Faye Streeter all rode well but were unable to quite capture a team rosette.  Faye, with Kilpike Boy, pulled all the stops out however and came away with a fabulous 2nd place in their section of the competition.

Equine star of the day , was Badger, Megan's horse.  After doing 2 classes with her he stepped in to partner Louise in the team test when a passport blip meant that Louise was unable to ride her own horse Banadl Hippo. Despite the lack of practice they both rose to the occasion and finished 9th in their section

Well done to Rachel Christie, Lashara Clements, Rachel Broome, Steve Dance, Eleanor Robin and Faye Streeter who all took up the challenge to represent their Club.  They competed at the Area 7 Show Jumping qualifier hosted by Rockingham Forest Riding Club and although they didn't manage to get through to the championships they had a good day and enjoyed the lovely facilities at Earl's Barton.

This Sunday, 20th July, Megan Sheppard, Diane Jones, Louise Hepburn, Faye Streeter and Lizzie Wooderson are heading for Cottenham Racecourse and the Area 7 Dressage qualifiers hosted by Cambridge and District RC and we wish them all luck.
