Welcome to the Stevenage District Riding Club SDRC

There was no risk of frostbite on Sunday 10 May 2009 when our rearranged dressage championships went ahead in bright sunshine. The sun certainly shone on Hannah Gilbert and Cresta Bay who built on their good qualifying scores to carrry off both the Prelim and Novice Championships and to collect the �40 training award for the highest scoring member - well done Hannah! 

Second place in the Prelim Championship went to non-member Jo Justham with HRH, and Steve Dance was runner up to Hannah in the Novice Championship with Jack the Lad.

The Intro class had only one competitior - Olivia Healing and her pony Brie who was at her first competition and who turned in a neat (if noisy from Brie) performance for a good score. 

Laura Kitchiner and her consistent mare Madison won the warm up class but sadly the dusty conditions affected their run in the Championship test.  Lizzie Wooderson captured first and second place in the Elementary test with Irish Cream and Rosario but was closely followed by Anne Palmer with Outburst, and Steve Dance took 4th in his first attempt at an Elementary test with Jack the Lad.
